Colorado Updates

As a part of the Colorado Open Enrollment, Humana One will accept child-only applications – children age 18 or younger – for Colorado residents from August 1st to August 31st. We need a completed application, with health history information for all applicants. You can quote and apply online beginning August 1st, or you may call to apply over the phone. Thereafter, Colorado Open Enrollments will be available each January 1 and July 1 for 30 days.
There are specific qualifying events that will qualify a child (18 or younger) for a child only policy year round. Please view that list and your options for enrollment here.
Effective January 1, 2012, all carriers issuing individual health benefit plans in the state of Colorado, are required to make available a Prescreening Questionnaire. Click here for more information.

Copay Plans

HumanaOne Copay plans have copays for in-network diagnostic illness and injury doctor's office visits. These health plans cover preventive care services at 100%, when you use an in-network provider. These plans also include prescription drug coverage. These features are similar to many employer-sponsored plans. You can select a plan that has copays for a set number of diagnostic illness and injury doctor's office visits per year - or an "enhanced" plan that doesn't have a set number.

100% After Deductible Plans

These plans pay 100% for most covered in-network expenses after you meet the deductible¹. These health plans pay for your preventive care services before you have met your deductible, when you use an in-network provider. This group of plans also has the widest range of deductible options: Individual in-network deductibles range from $1,500 to $7,500; family in-network deductibles range from $3,000 to $22,500.

Other deductibles may apply, including but not limited to prescription drug, mental health, and condition-specific deductibles.

Health Savings Plans

If you want coverage similar to a 100% After Deductible plan – plus the ability to have a healthcare spending account – consider our Health Savings Account (HSA) plans. These plans are qualified High Deductible Health Plans designed to work with an HSA – a tax-free way to budget and pay for your deductible and other qualified medical expenses.² These health plans pay for your preventive care services before you have met your deductible, when you use an in-network provider.

Short-Term Medical Plans

HumanaOne Short Term Medical plans are designed for people who want temporary coverage in case of an unexpected illness or injury. It's an ideal choice if you're a student or recent graduate or waiting for other coverage to begin. This type of plan isn't renewable and doesn't cover pre-existing conditions or complications from pre-existing conditions¹.

HumanaOne PPO short term plans include a one-time, non-refundable application/policy fee. The quoted monthly payment reflects 30 days of coverage. If you select this option, the initial payment will reflect 35 days of premium; subsequent payments will reflect 30 days of premium.
